For her first podcast show, Voici Bazhane, she interviewed the Florida State Senator Bobby Powell Jr., (D-30). Her first major published piece was featured in Arian Simone’s Fearless magazine. Kira made her first television appearance on FAMU’s TV-20 Homecoming Special on channel 20. She enjoys video editing in her free time. She continues to produce more content for her show, write blogs on her website, and engage in deeper digital learning.

Naja Hardmon

Naja Hardmon is a junior public relations undergraduate student at Florida Agriculture and Mechanical University. “The Mesh” is a discussion-based podcast focused on exploring the relationship between movies and politics, meshing the two topics into one. In the first episode, actress and student screenwriter Jazmine Johnson is featured to join the discussion on the impact political issues has on popular black films. She holds interests in film, music, and photography and has applied her passion for the artforms to co-produce the first episode of “The Mesh” with co-host and co-producer, ZuriCottrell. Tanzania ralph is a junior Broadcast Journalism major at Florida Agricultural and MechanicalUniversity, In the School of Journalism and Graphic Design. She is a Co-Host of the “InEntertainment” podcast with Co-Host Kennedy Guidry that addresses what’s going on in the world of entertainment and social media. She has her own radio show called “Tea Time WithPecan Tan” on WANM Tallahassee. Kaviena Spencer is a sophomore Broadcast Journalism Major at Florida A&M University in Tallahassee Fl. With her podcast “M&M,” she talks about the legacy of Marvel and how it impacted the life of a person. She is a proud member of the organization Warriors Against Rape, she is beginning to build her brand by starting her own YouTube channel. Tanzania Ralph and herself teamed up to put together the In Entertainment podcast that highlights black pioneers and collaborations celebrating excellence. She is from Roswell, GA and has always had a passion for sports and hopes to pursue a career as a sports publicist. Monisha Lanot is a Public Relations professional in the entertainment industry from Pompano Beach, FL. In her latest work, she interviewed a published model and upcoming rap star during a podcast. Together, they discussed the existing adversities within the entertainment and fashion industry such as colorism and body shaming. Outside of being a PR practitioner, Ms. Lanot has become a public figure within the underground music world. Lilla Bleu Bell

Lilla Bleu Bell is a junior public relations scholar at Florida A&M University. In this podcast, a local  Dream Defender Jodi-Ann Henningham, examines the uptick in the number of  white women contacting the police about the perceived offenses by persons of color. Bleu is a staff writer for the FAMUan student newspaper, and has served as an intern at   Sachs Media Group where she wrote press releases and op-eds for high profile clients. Her internship work was published in media outlets nationwide. The honors student is an active member of the Public Relations Student Society of America. She is looking forward to her next internship at The Moore Agency during the spring semester 2019.

Bleu is a staff writer for the FAMUAN and through previous internship experience at Sachs Media Group, she wrote press releases and op-eds for high profile clients that were published in outlets across Florida and USA Today. She is an Honors student and active member of the Public Relations Student Society of America and will be a PR intern at The Moore Agency in the spring.

Breyanna Holmes is a senior public relations scholar at the School of Journalism and Graphic Communications at Florida A&M University. This first-year generations student podcast“Rattler’s Lifestyle” is a true business segment that explains the lifestyle of entrepreneur students. She currently serves as Big Sister Little Sister Mentoring Program, Vice President for the 2018-2019 academic school year. With this trustworthy position, she inspires women through writing, social media and video. She coordinates events, organizes feminine product drives and promotes the female market. She has also done great works for National Council of NegroWomen(NCNW), The FAMU Athletics marketing team and Office of Student Activities (OSA). Her creative ideas have allowed her to create an alliance with students and the community. Breyanna strives to make a difference and empower the community. She aspires to start a non-profit organization.
